Dating: the difference between men and women is a ring- the benzene ring.

The differences between the male hormone and the female hormones chemically are:
1. The benzene ring which is also found in the explosive TNT. and gives it its explosive property.
2. The female hormone has one less carbon.

This, the real chemistry between the sexes, is obviously highly metaphoric. The woman having one less carbon speaks of submission to her own husband. The benzene ring, a very important feature in organic chemistry, speaks of power. This ring is like closing in on your self, saying "no exterior disturbance". Benzene closes in on itself refuse to take on more hydrogen. Like a man closes in on himself to stick to his family. This is self-control and represents self-denial because the molecule would be much stable( satisfied) if it took on more hydrogen.  The difference between TNT and gunpowder(nitroglycerine) is this greater stabilty.  Gun powder is quick to go and dangerous for storage. However gun powder lacking the benzene ring is also heart medicine. Women are to be heart medicine to their families. Nitroglycerine is used to relieve heart pain.
